I began as a server and bartender for a well established family owned Restaurant/Bar where I was able to develop customer service skills, build customer base, improve vendor relationships, and successfully learn day to day operations that resulted in promoting to a Bar Manager within 3 months of employment. After 7 years, I took a position as an Office Manager at a furniture manufacturing company that was looking to grow its customer base nationwide and improve upon a customer satisfication rating. I was dedicated to ensuring the quality and integrity of the product line was exceeding the customers expectations. Due to determination I was able to increase sales by 24 % in 2 years by establishing relationships and setting up accounts with distribution centers in 4 new states. In the past 8 years, I held a Quality Manager position.
What I love about my job: The main role during my career path that I loved the most was listening to the needs of others, being able to provide an appropriate solution to the problem, and successfully developing long lasting relationships with those I came into contact with.
